PED 125(A) – CRN 21718 Hunt Seat Equitation – This course is open to all students from beginners to advanced horseback riders.  Students will be grouped and taught based on their experience level, from basic position to advanced position and from introduction to jumping to riding courses for competition.  Each student will take one group lesson a week for the 14 week semester, with the lesson to be scheduled in the morning, afternoon or evening to accommodate the school schedule of the student.  All lessons will be conducted at Providence Hill Farm.  Riding boots and an ASTM/SEI certified helmet are required.  Cost for the course is $500.  The course will be offered during the Fall and Spring semesters.  Each student will receive one credit hour.
